Fellowship and Residency Research Program (FRRP)

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​It is a required component of the Fellowship and Residency program where categorical residents and clinical fellows are required to carry out one research project throughout their residency or fellowship period.

​​​​Target Audience

Categorical residents and clinical fellows in the Faculty of Medicine​.


  • To provide residents and clinical fellows with a research experience:
    • From carrying out the Literature review till manuscript submission
    • ​Poster creation and presentation and/or oral presentation of their research work in the annual clinical research open
  • To connect residents and clinical fellows with advisors, who will supervise and evaluate their performance, which in turn allows them to develop long term professional relationships
  • To offer research related sessions to residents and clinical fellows 
  • To develop a publication in a peer-reviewed journal

​​​FRRP Portal ​where residents and fellows can log in using their AUB username and password to fill out the requirements and retrieve evaluations and feedback:
  • Interest Questionnaire and CITI certificate
  • Letter of Intent (LOI)
  • Proposal 
  • Exit Questionnaire

​Residents and Fellows can access the Clinical Research Portal at AUBMC​ to learn more about the projects that faculty members at AUBMC are working on.​
