  Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. AUB has over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. AUB offers more than 130 programs leading to bachelor's, master's, MD, and PhD degrees. The main language of instruction is English.

Objectives

To provide residents and clinical fellows with research expertise:

Carrying out literature review to manuscript submission.
Showcasing oral presentations of their research during the annual Clinical Research Open House.

To connect residents and clinical fellows with advisors, who will supervise and evaluate their performance, which in turn allows them to develop long-term professional relationships.
To offer research-related sessions (Medical Research Lecture Series) to residents and clinical fellows.
To develop publications in peer-reviewed journals.
