Research Interests

Isolation, characterization, and targeting of cancer stem cells from solid tumors; The role of cancer stem cells in the initiation, progression and development of castration-resistant prostate cancer; Developing novel human prostate cancer cell lines spanning the spectrum of the disease; modulation of Neurogenesis and neural stem cells; generating patient-derived organoids from different solid tumors.

Establishing clinically-relevant models of prostate cancer using mouse cells, Prostate cancer and diabetes, The role of developmental pathways (SHH) in prostate cancer, Targeting prostate cancer stem cells using old and novel drugs and compounds, Embryonic stem cells (ESC) and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) differentiation, Stem cells and neurogenesis.
