Application for First Year Medicine


Please read the front and back covers of the application for more details and note that submission of the First Year Medicine application which requires the following

  • First Year Medicine application
  • A recent, passport size, colored photograph of the applicant
  • A photocopy of the applicant’s identity card or passport
  • An official transcript
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • MCAT Scores (Official scores to be sent directly to AUB and please attach Unofficial scores as printed from internet)
  • $80 US application fee

Deadlines & Notification Dates

Application submission deadline is January 15 and the preliminary acceptance to the Faculty of Medicine will be issued by mid April and will be conditional upon completion of the BS, MS, BA, or MA degrees.

English Language Proficiency Requirements (ELPR)

Upon admission, the applicant must show a level of proficiency in the English language by obtaining a minimum score of 530 on the English Entrance Examination (EEE), OR 583 on the paper-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), OR 250 on the computer-based TOEFL OR 97 on the Internet-based TOEFL OR 7.0 on IELTS. 

AUB graduates or graduates from US/UK/AUSTRALIA/CANADA are exempted from ELPR
