Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology

We work to unravel mechanisms of disease and drug action, and identify drug targets, with the hope of finding application and translation in the clinical sphere as therapy for various diseases.

The Department is one of 4 basic biomedical science departments within the Faculty of Medicine and is located on the 3rd floor of the Diana Tamari Sabbagh Building. It offers a graduate program leading to the degree of Master of Science in Pharmacology and Therapeutics and Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Sciences with a focus in pharmacology and toxicology.
