In Vivo Imaging System

IVIS Lumina III from Perkin Elmer

In vivo imaging facilitates non-invasive longitudinal monitoring of disease progression, cell trafficking and gene expression patterns in living animals.

To complement our molecular experiments in vivo, the IVIS Lumina Series III can perform both bioluminescence and fluorescence imaging quantitatively in our small animal models.  The system includes a highly sensitive CCD camera, 26 filters, light tight imaging chamber and complete automation and analysis capability.  The system is capable of imaging up to 5 mice or 2 rats at a time.  It includes a heated stage, gas anesthesia setup and ECG monitoring.
