Sequencers: ABI-3500

Our Genetics Core Facility currently includes one Sanger sequencing units, the ABI 3500 with 8 capillaries.

Our current units are capable of sequencing Nuclear, mitochondrial, as well as plasmid DNA. We also do fragment analysis such as short tandem repeats (STR), single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP), mutational screening, among others.
