The Sixth Global Symposium on Health Systems Research (HSR2020) will take place in the Eastern Mediterranean Region in Dubai and will welcome around 2,000 delegates over five days from 8th to the 12th November 2020.
The Sixth Global Symposium on Health Systems Research (HSR2020) will seek to break old silos and re-orient health systems to address public health and engage the political, social, and environmental forces that perpetuate health inequities and social injustices, under the main theme of : Re-imagining health systems for better health and social justice
With 3 sub-themes:
Sub-theme 1: Engaging political forces
Sub-theme 2: Engaging social, economic and environmental forces
Sub-theme 3: Engaging technological, data and social innovations
The winning bid was put forward by the Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government, Dubai, in partnership with the United Arab Emirates, and in coordination and close collaboration with the American University of Beirut (AUB), through its Knowledge to Policy (K2P) Center at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Lebanon.
