Michelle Assal is an Evidence Lead Specialist at the Knowledge to Policy (K2P) Center at AUB. Michelle holds a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) from the American University of Beirut and a Bachelors of Sciences in Biology (BS) from the Lebanese American University.
She has experience in the field of knowledge translation, evidence synthesis, and standards development. She has also worked with the Ministry of Public Health on developing regulations for conducting clinical trials of medical devices in Lebanon, as well as enforcing the implementation of the code of ethics for medicinal product promotion in Lebanon.
Her work is focused on developing standards for the daycares governed by MOPH and MOSA in Lebanon, as well as establishing a roadmap for sin taxation in Lebanon.
