Najla Daher holds a Master's degree in Public Health with a concentration in Health Management and Policy and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health from the American University of Beirut.
She is a research assistant at the Knowledge to Policy (K2P) Center at AUB and a member of the Gamma Delta chapter of the Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health. Her research interests and work are focused on health policy and systems research, knowledge translation, evidence-informed policy, health information systems, and systematic reviews.
She has worked on various projects with the Ministry of Public Health in Lebanon including "Building consensus on the readiness of electronic health record in Lebanon" and "Readiness assessment and action plan for strengthening health information system at the Ministry of Public Health-Lebanon". Other projects that she's currently working on include promoting well-functioning health information systems to support policymaking in the Eastern Mediterranean region and evidence-informed policies for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to tackle physical inactivity, tobacco smoking, air pollution, and climate change.
