Three members from Nigeria (1 Parliamentarian-Chairman of the House Committee on Health, 1 policymaker from the Ministry of Health, and 1 researcher)) joined the K2P Fellowship Program at K2P Center from February 24-27 2020.
Key outputs of the meeting:
- A revised briefing note including infographics to promote its uptake
- Draft course outlines
- A prototype for a policy fellowship program
The Parliamentarian Fellow agreed on the below additional action plans post-fellowship program: Introduction of a regular training course on evidence-informed policy legislations in the state and local government. K2P Center is supporting Health Policy and Systems Institute in Nigeria in developing a Training module for Parliamentarians on Evidence-Informed Policy legislation.
