The Munib & Angela Masri Institute of Energy and Natural Resources at AUB held its 7th annual workshop titled “Energy Geo-Science and Engineering" on Friday April 7, 2017 from 8:45 till 1:30 pm, in B1 College Hall. Prof. J. Carlos Santamarina, Professor of Earth Science and Engineering and the Associate Director of Upstream Petroleum Engineering Research Center, KAUST, gave a talk on “Pressing geo-science and engineering needs in the energy sector".

Graduate students who have worked on MI-funded projects partcipated in a poster session in the same auditorium to signify the interdisciplinary and collaborative research supported by the Institute. The first and second best posters in presentation/content received a symbolic monetary awards of $300 and $200.
