Materials Science and Energy International Symposium

The Materials Science and Energy International Symposium was held on April 22, 2014 and hosted two keynote lectures by international scientists: Prof. Michael J. Aziz, School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Harvard University; and Prof. Sebastian Volz, CNRS, Ecole Centrale de Paris. Moreover, a two-hour poster session was held, where AUB faculty and students presented their latest research work in the areas of materials science, and energy research. 

This symposium presented an opportunity to learn about the latest research in nanoscience, materials science and energy related applications. 
  
A total of $140,000 in research grants was awarded by the Masri as part of the fifth research funding cycle, in addition to three monetary awards going for the best student posters.
