02FEA310321 Webinar on CO2 capturing SM announcement-webpage.jpg The Munib and Angela Masri Institute of Energy and Natural Resources at AUB hosted a webinar on CO₂ capturing, storage and sequestration on Friday April 9, 2021 at 10:00 am Beirut time. The webinar included two talks and a Q & A. The first was titled "An Overview of the Geological Storage Potential of CO_2" in Saudi Arabia by Hussein Hoteit, Associate Professor, Energy Resources and Petroleum Engineering, Physical Science and Engineering Division, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology. And the second talk was titled "CO₂ Capturing and Sequestration in Lebanon – A Full Cycle Assessment and Optimization towards Minimizing the Country Emissions Footprint" by Kassem Ghorayeb Assistant Professor, Baha and Walid Bassatne Department of Chemical Engineering and Advanced Energy, American University of Beirut.
