Applications for Full Scholarships for on-campus master's (thesis and non-thesis tracks) for Fall 2026-27 are now open. The deadline for application is March 12, 2026.
Eligibility and Admission Criteria
On-campus masters' scholarships are open to young people who are:
- Citizens of countries on the African Continent
- Citizens of Lebanon
- Refugees living in Lebanon or on the African Continent
PhD scholarships are open to:
- Citizens of countries on the African Continent
- Refugees living on the African Continent
ELIGIBILITY AND SELECTION CRITERIA FOR SCHOLARSHIP STUDENTS- 35 years or younger
- Strong academic standing in their previous degree
- Talent that exceeds financial resources
- Demonstrated leadership potential and commitment to community engagement
- Commitment to attend additional learning experiences and workshops required by the Scholars Program
- Demonstration of Readiness for University Studies in English (RUSE) by May 31, 2026.
Tests that you can submit: AUB-EN test, TOEFL IBT, IELTS (Academic), GRE (Verbal), GMAT (Verbal), or DUOLINGO English Test (DET).
How to apply
Interested applicants should:
Step 1: Complete an AUB online graduate application and upload supporting documents by the deadline.
Step 2: Select Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program under the Financial Opportunities section of the online graduate application.
Step 3 (not required for PhD): Complete the AUB
Financial Aid Application, which will be accessible after you submit your online graduate application.
IMPORTANT NOTE: For an application to be considered complete, applicants must have completed (1) the AUB online graduate application and (2) the AUB Financial Aid Application.
