Announcements

Applications for full scholarships for on-campus master's programs thesis and non-thesis tracks for Fall 2026–27 are now closed. The deadline for applications was March 26, 2026.

Eligibility and Admission Criteria

On-campus master's scholarships are open to young people who are:

Citizens of countries on the African continent
Citizens of Lebanon
Refugees living in Lebanon or on the African continent

PhD scholarships are open to:

Citizens of countries on the African continent
Refugees living on the African continent

Eligibility and Selection Criteria for Scholarship Students

35 years old or younger
Strong academic standing in their previous degree
Talent that exceeds financial resources
Demonstrated leadership potential and commitment to community engagement
Commitment to attend additional learning experiences and workshops required by the Scholars Program
Demonstration of Readiness for University Studies in English (RUSE) by May 31, 2026.

Tests that applicants can submit include: AUB-EN test, TOEFL iBT, IELTS Academic, GRE Verbal, GMAT Verbal, or Duolingo English Test.

How to Apply

Interested applicants should:

Complete an AUB online graduate application and upload the required supporting documents by the deadline.
Select Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program under the Financial Opportunities section of the online graduate application.
Not required for PhD applicants: Complete the AUB Financial Aid Application, which will be accessible after submitting the online graduate application.

Important note: For an application to be considered complete, applicants must complete both the AUB online graduate application and the AUB Financial Aid Application.
