Applications for Full Scholarships for
on-campus master's (thesis and non-thesis tracks) and
PhD degrees for Fall 2024-25 are now
closed. The deadline for application was on
March 14, 2024.
Eligibility and Admission Criteria
On-campus masters' scholarships are open to:
- Citizens of countries on the African Continent
- Citizens of Lebanon
- Refugees living in Lebanon or on the African Continent
PhD scholarships are open to:
- Citizens of countries on the African Continent
- Refugees living on the African Continent
ELIGIBILITY AND SELECTION CRITERIA FOR SCHOLARSHIP STUDENTS- Good academic standing in the previous degree
- Talent that exceeds financial resources
- Commitment to giving back to the community, country, and region
- Leadership skills
- Commitment to attend all the additional learning experiences and workshops required by the Scholars Program
- 35 years or younger
- Demonstration of Readiness for University Studies in English (RUSE) by April 21, 2024.
Tests that you can submit: AUB-EN test, TOEFL IBT, IELTS (Academic), GRE (Verbal), GMAT (Verbal), or DUOLINGO English Test (DET).
How to apply
Interested applicants should:
Step 1: Complete an AUB online graduate application and upload supporting documents by the deadline.
Step 2: Select Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program under the scholarship section of the online graduate application and tick the corresponding APPLY checkbox. Then, click “Save” to submit your changes.
Step 4: Fill out the AUB Financial Aid application (deadline to be communicated to applicants who will receive access to the financial aid application 1-2 weeks after completing Step 2).
IMPORTANT NOTE: For an application to be considered complete, applicants must have completed (1) the AUB online graduate application, (2) the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program survey, and (3) the AUB Financial Aid Application.
