  Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. AUB has over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. Nobel Laureate Jean-Marie Lehn

1987 Chemistry Nobel Laureate Jean-Marie Lehn delivered the 33^rd mentoring talk entitled, “Steps Towards Complex Matter: Chemistry!" on Feb 19, 2025 via WebEx. This mentoring talk was organized in partnership with the prestigious Angewandte Chemie.
