  Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. AUB has over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. Prof. Dr. Frauke Melchior, Rektorin of Heidelberg University, delivered the 32^ndmentoring talk entitled, “The Joys and Struggles of a Career with Family in the Life Sciences – A Very Personal Perspective" on Jan 30, 2025 via WebEx.

This mentoring talk was organized in partnership with the prestigious Angewandte Chemie.
