  Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. AUB has over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. Nobel Laureate Sir Richard Roberts

1993 Physiology/Medicine Nobel Laureate Sir Richard J. Roberts delivered the 34^th mentoring talk at AUB entitled, “The Path to Nobel Prize" on Sep 11, 2025 via WebEx. This mentoring talk was organized in partnership with the prestigious Angewandte Chemie.
