The Dr. Musa Najib Nimah Endowed Award for Academic Excellence

Eliana Al Kharrat (Lebanon) was awarded The Dr. Musa Najib Nimah Endowed Award for Academic Excellence. This award is usually given to a graduating student at the undergraduate level from the Agriculture Program who has the highest cumulative GPA.

The Aiman Sulieman Student Development Award

Sara Badran (Lebanon) was awarded The Aiman Sulieman Student Development Award. This award is granted to the student(s) or team(s) that receive(s) the highest ranking in one or more of the following areas: community support building through student experiential learning; effective deployment of resources; empowering student success; student learning and data gathering through informational interviews, focus groups, and surveys; practical solutions to real-life challenges.

M&C Saatchi MENA Award

Cynthia Nahhas (Lebanon) was awarded with the M&C Saatchi MENA Award. M&C Saatchi MENA is a communication agency covering the full spectrum of creative communication, from offline advertising to online and digital media engagement. This award was established in 2010 to recognize the academic achievements of one or more graduating students in the Media Studies Program at the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Media Studies.

Philip K. Hitti Prize

Sinan Faiad (Lebanon) was awarded with the Philip K. Hitti Prize. The award is given to the senior student who, in the judgment of the president, the dean of FAS, and the department chair, exemplifies in their academic career the scholarly spirit of AUB at its best.

Janet Haddadin Nursing Award

Roba El Zibaoui (Lebanon) was awarded with the Janet Haddadin Nursing Award. The Janet Haddadin award is a cash award of $1000 granted to a graduating undergraduate nursing student with the highest Cumulative GPA.

Nada Alameddine Kanso – Women's Auxiliary Award

Nour Fakhran (Lebanon) was awarded with the Nada Alameddine Kanso – Women's Auxiliary Award. As part of the Women's Auxiliary awards, cash and certificate awards are granted to senior students who meet the following criteria: academic achievement, professional integrity and seriousness of purpose, contribution to professional and university life, and willingness to join AUBMC after graduation.

Emily Asfour – Women's Auxiliary Award

Wael Patrick Karaki (Lebanon) was awarded with the Emily Asfour – Women's Auxiliary Award. As part of the Women's Auxiliary awards, cash and certificate awards are granted to senior students who meet the following criteria: academic achievement, professional integrity and seriousness of purpose, contribution to professional and university life, and willingness to join AUBMC after graduation.

Agnes Shammaa – Women's Auxiliary Award

Tala Khattab (Lebanon) was awarded with the Agnes Shammaa – Women's Auxiliary Award. As part of the Women's Auxiliary awards, cash and certificate awards are granted to senior students who meet the following criteria: academic achievement, professional integrity and seriousness of purpose, contribution to professional and university life, and willingness to join AUBMC after graduation.

Ann Smith  – Women's Auxiliary Award

Grace Hajinzarian (Lebanon) was awarded with the Ann Smith  – Women's Auxiliary Award. As part of the Women's Auxiliary awards, cash and certificate awards are granted to senior students who meet the following criteria: academic achievement, professional integrity and seriousness of purpose, contribution to professional and university life, and willingness to join AUBMC after graduation.

Hanneh Shahine – Women's Auxiliary Award

Hanine Yassine (Lebanon) was awarded with the Hanneh Shahine – Women's Auxiliary Award. As part of the Women's Auxiliary awards, cash and certificate awards are granted to senior students who meet the following criteria: academic achievement, professional integrity and seriousness of purpose, contribution to professional and university life, and willingness to join AUBMC after graduation.

Mohamad Ali Safieddine Award

Dima Yehia (Lebanon) was awarded with the The Mohamad Ali Safieddine Award. Mohamad Ali Ali Safieddine Award is awarded to a graduating student in the Olayan School of Business. The awardee should be benefiting from financial assistance and has demonstrated a strong potential or path towards entrepreneurship and business ownership.

MSFEA Dean's Award for Creative Achievement

The Dean's Award for Creative Achievement is an annual honorary award given to a student in each undergraduate program who has demonstrated outstanding creativity in their approach to academic work in projects, problem solving, and/or laboratory and shop work.

Alaa Abboud (Lebanon) has been awarded the Dean's Award for Creative Achievement. Moreover, Jana Shami and Sara Zein have been awarded the Dean's Award for Creative Achievement for their final year project “Design of a Composting Plant in Tyre District." Last but not least, Raneem Sheronick, Zeina Takach and Jad Saad have been awarded the Dean's Award for Creative Achievement for their project “Electromagnetics for Elderly Health Monitoring."

Distinguished Graduate Award

Jad Rammal has been awarded the Distinguished Graduate Award, an annual honorary award made to a graduating student from each of the undergraduate majors for outstanding academic achievement, character, and contribution to the department.
