Overview
The Department of Industrial Engineering and Management at the American University of Beirut invites applications for a tenure-track position at all ranks in the areas of Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management. Applications for visiting positions will also be considered.
Qualifications & Main Duties
The successful candidate must hold a doctorate in Industrial Engineering or a related field and must demonstrate potential for quality research and teaching. Faculty are expected to teach and conduct research in their areas of specialty, with emphasis on data science, decision analysis, and operations research.

Overview
The American University of Beirut invites applications for a tenure-track position in chemical engineering with a focus on biological/bioprocess engineering, preferably at the rank of Assistant Professor. Applications for visiting positions in all ranks may also be considered.
Qualifications & Main Duties
The successful candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree and a doctorate in Chemical Engineering or a related field, and must demonstrate potential for quality research and teaching. Faculty are expected to teach and conduct research in their areas of specialty, with emphasis on biological/bioprocess engineering, energy storage, new energy, renewable and sustainable products, and/or artificial intelligence. Candidates with research interests in the listed areas who seek to address current challenges in plant biotechnology and agriculture are encouraged to apply.
