  Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. AUB has over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. AUB offers more than 130 programs leading to bachelor's, master's, MD, and PhD degrees. The main language of instruction is English.

Interdisciplinary Design Practice Program - Team

The Interdisciplinary Design Practice Program was founded in 2018 by Professor Vida Mia García.

Our team's mission is to spread design-thinking mindsets and practices, and integrate them into curricula, courses, projects, and culture. We are passionate about people, their stories, and believe in innovating by design.

Our program is ever-growing and open to anyone interested in joining our journey! We are also very eager to open discussions with the community at large.
