The Baha and Walid Bassatne Department of Chemical Engineering and Advanced Energy fosters a community of scholars, among its faculty members and graduate students, with the interest of advancing knowledge and contributing to the profession. The program offers one graduate program: Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering (ME).

The five main Program Learning Objectives (PLOs) will help the graduate students to:

Analyze qualitative and/or quantitative research information, in creative projects related to their graduate program.
Analyze core concepts, theories and practices in different areas of study in their discipline.
Demonstrate scholarly communication skills in clear, detailed and well-structured scientific oral format consistent with high standards of their discipline.
Demonstrate scholarly communication skills in clear, detailed and well-structured scientific written format consistent with high standards of their discipline.
Apply professionalism and ethical conduct in their discipline.
