Rehabilitation of the old Medina of Fes

REPORT ON AUB FES WORKSHOP 9-15 November 2018 | Fes, Morocco

MSFEA Architecture 4th and 5th year students traveled to Fes, Morocco where they worked on three sites as part of the rehabilitation of the old Medina of Fes in collaboration with ADER-Fes (Agence pour le dedensification et la rehabilitation de le medina de Fes). This included site visits to rehabilitation sites and to important historic landmarks, and madrasahs in the old medina.

The Workshop helped enable the students to carry out field surveys and interviews to propose design ideas for these different site projects:
