Are “performal” buildings possible?

Faculty Spotlight: Aram Yeretzian

Dr. Aram Yeretzian holds a joint position of assistant professor for climate responsive buildings at the departments of architecture and civil and environmental engineering at MSFEA. He is also a former president and current board member of the Lebanon Green Building Council.

Aram worked in France and Lebanon, on research and design of sustainable architecture and green energy and technology for the environment.

Cars and phones have changed dramatically over time, both in shape and technology; however, we haven't seen extraordinary improvements in buildings. It is time for a paradigm change both in the shape and performance of buildings using research.

Don't miss Yeretzian's fascinating talk in the video below.

IDEAS Talks are an opportunity to learn from MSFEA experts about timely topics in engineering, technology, and design. IDEAS 2019 took place at the American University of Beirut on April 18, 2019.
