This course introduces the foundations of technical communication, emphasizing strategic, humanized, and technologically enriched approaches. Students will explore reflexivity, audience awareness, and ethical practices in communication. It then delves into the application of technical communication strategies tailored to different purposes and audiences. It emphasizes the dynamic interplay between informative, persuasive, and impromptu communication.

This course equips STEM professionals with the practical writing skills needed to create clear, concise, and coherent forms of communication. Through hands-on assignments and real-world applications, students will learn the principles of effective technical writing and explore the role of AI in enhancing writing quality. Additionally, the course will apply best practices to assess and critique engineering documents based on writing standards and cultural contexts.

This course explores the power of visuals in technical communication, focusing on their design, application, and ethical considerations. Students will learn to select, create, and critique visuals for diverse audiences and purposes. The course then introduces AI-driven tools and advanced visualization techniques to craft compelling data narratives.

This course helps STEM professionals develop strong presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. Students will learn how to design effective slides, structure compelling presentations, and use public speaking techniques to engage their audience. The certificate does not state online. All our programs are offered by AUB faculty members in collaboration with industry experts and offer quality education while utilizing advanced tools and technology to facilitate online learning.

While financial aid and scholarships are not currently available for our online programs, we do offer a 10% early bird discount for full tuition payment before the program starts.
