The Construction Engineering and Management Lab houses cutting edge research by more than twenty PhD and master’s students supervised by four faculty members. The lab, located in IOEC 210b, includes 12 high-performance computers equipped with advanced modeling, animation, programming, simulation, and automation software.
Our research covers cutting edge construction technologies, decision support systems and tools, advanced process modeling and simulation, construction logistics, industrialized construction, lean construction and production planning/control, integrated project delivery, legal aspects of construction projects, alternative dispute resolution, green buildings, lifecycle assessment and sustainability principles in the construction industry.
