"Nuit de Pleine Lune: Mélanges offerts à Leila Badre"

​​​​​​It was a lovely evening of comradery and friendship as the hall at the AUB museum was filled to its capacity with joyous academics, friends and members who came to celebrate, on Wednesday February 19, 2020, the inauguration of “Nuit de Pleine Lune sur Amurru: Mélanges offerts à Leila Badre"; a commemoration of Dr. Badre's long journey and contributions to the field of Archeology and Museology.

Mrs. Nora Joumblatt, former president of the Friends of the AUB Museum, introduced the panel made up of Dr. Leila Badre, director of the AUB Museum, Dr. Francoise Briquel Chatonnet and Dr. Carole Roche, research directors at CNRS - France.

The evening was followed by the signature of Dr. Badre's book, and concluded with a joyful cocktail that was laced with laughter and warmth amongst friends. ​
