Glass Flask (Inv.# 4536)
Islamic Period (9th – 10th c. AD)
It is a blue-green flask glass (18.7 x 8.5 cm), dating back to the Islamic Period (9th – 10th c. AD), one of the shattered glass pieces from the August 4 Beirut blast.
This beautiful flask was bell-shaped, with a flat base, domed body, flaring neck and inverted rim. It is restorable and hopefully will rise again!!
