The Glass Collections Journey After Beirut Blast: Glass beaker (Inventory# 4125)


​Glass beaker (Inventory # 4125)

Late Roman Period (4th – 5th c. AD)

Here is another rescued glass artifact from the August 4 Beirut Blast at the AUB Museum.
It is a pale blue green glass beaker (10.3 x 7.7 cm), dating back to the Late Roman Period (4th – 5th c. AD), with a flat and slightly concave base, bi-conical body, vertical rim, and flaring mouth. Fortunately restorable!
