The Glass Collections Journey After Beirut Blast: Glass bowl (Inventory# 5674)

​Late Roman Period (4th c. AD)​​

Let's have a look today at one of the surviving broken glass piece of the AUB Museum after August 4 Beirut blast.
It is a green glass bowl (8.95 x 17.5 cm) dating back to the Late Roman Period (4th c. AD), with a wide collared rim, tapering towards a cylindrical body, flat bottom with applied footring base.
