In our world today, any material management project, whether it's documents, photos, heritage items, or sites, needs to include digitization as a fundamental means to attain an effective and secure electronic record system. This involves digital curation, web archiving, information management, accessibility, and presentation. Drawing on different types of collections, the speakers will address the life cycle of the digitized objects, discuss technical challenges, and highlight questions of accessibility, presentation, and language.
