Guide to Municipal Solid Waste Management

It is important to note that although much of the information presented in the manual can be generalized, it mainly targets rural areas, rather than densely populated cities such as Beirut or Sidon, which produce far more waste and hence require different practices. Ultimately, the goal of the manual is to document the work of the AUB Waste Management Task Force in order to allow all concerned parties to make informed decisions regarding their waste management strategies. It may also serve as an informational tool for those who need it.
