End-users perception and inclusion in solid waste management around EU funded waste facilities in Lebanon
The team at the AUB- Nature Conservation Center (AUB-NCC) is collecting data and knowledge on end users perception and inclusion around solid waste management (SWM) in areas where the European Union (EU) has financed facilities in the last 15 years.
This study is part of a wider evaluation project that aims to identify the current status of the operation and service provision of the facilities to create a tailored recommendation framework based on up-to-date ground data. The study is designed to complement the wider evaluation project. Understanding end user perception and inclusion in SWM at multiple scales, will provide valuable insights and grounds for comparative analysis on the functionality and effectiveness of SWM around EU financed facilities.
