GEI Participates in Launch of Mandela Project for Social Change
In early May, Dr. Tania Haddad, Director of the Global Engagement Initiative, and Dr. Fida Afyouni, Associate Provost, participated in the launch of the Mandela Project for Social Change, organized by the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC) in Torino, Italy.
This initiative, inspired by Nelson Mandela's legacy, united individuals from various continents, all dedicated to making a positive impact in their communities.
During the action-packed two-day event, leaders from partner universities and the UNSSC gathered in Turin to spark discussions on transformative social change and leadership. The sessions were highly stimulating, filled with focused discussions and innovative ideas on driving sustainable social change.
