Introduction
The common method of soliciting funds and approaching potential sponsors to support research and other activities is writing proposals in a manner which clearly defines the research concept and the problem, and states the benefits to be gained as a result of the efforts and research activities proposed. The faculty member is responsible for drafting the proposal and is the individual who will play the role of a principal investigator or project director and will eventually be responsible for the project upon award approval.
This section will focus on describing the various processes of proposal and budget preparation, AUB's proposal approval as well as the responsibilities of faculty members and OGC in the proposal writing and review phases.
