  Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. AUB has over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. VISAS TO LEBANON

ALL non-Lebanese students coming to study at AUB need to have a valid passport for a period of at least 12 months and are encouraged to secure an entry visa either through OIP or through the Lebanese embassy/consulate in their country of residence.

Check with the nearest Lebanese embassy or consulate in your country about whether you require an entry visa to Lebanon as some nationalities are entitled, by Lebanese Immigration Laws, to a free single entry visa upon arrival to Beirut Airport.
