SAFAR Doctoral Scholarship

AUB and the French Embassy in Lebanon (through the SAFAR program), co-finance doctoral scholarships reserved for Lebanese doctoral students admitted to prepare a doctoral thesis. The student will be registered at both AUB and its partner institution in France. Scholarship holders under this call will benefit both from the French Government Scholarship and an AUB PhD Scholarship.

The funding, on an alternative basis between the Embassy of France and AUB, covers the doctoral student for a maximum duration of 3 academic years (one year renewable twice only). Over the 36 months of the thesis, the duration of the stay in France must be 18 months.
