As a fresh graduate of the Master’s in Human Resource Management program from the Suliman S. Olayan School of Business (OSB) at the American University of Beirut, I was able to transfer my value-added skills into hands-on experiences in my everyday life. What drew me to apply to this program was the richness of the profiles of the faculty members as well as their research interests. One of my favorite courses was Business Ethics and Labor Law; it allowed me to think about everyday business issues from disparate perspectives. Using various lenses when viewing a problem brought insights on how perspectives differ and enriched class discussions. I believe it is essential for every individual to know their rights and duties are when it comes to being part of the labor force.
