Eligibility, Selection, & Training International Business Case Competitions

Eligibility

  • The program is exclusively open to Sophomore & Junior students enrolled at OSB/AUB.
  • Applicants are required to demonstrate a strong commitment to academic excellence, personal advancement, and personal growth.

Application Process

  • The recruitment cycle is launched during the Fall semester of each academic year.
  • Students can access the application link through the website, email, and school social media platforms.
  • The application pool typically consists of approximately 150-200 students who submit their CVs and transcripts for consideration.

Selection Process

  • All applicants undergo a comprehensive interview process as part of the selection criteria.
  • From the applicant pool, forty students are chosen in the initial round to advance to the next stage.

Training Process

Phase 1

  • The selected 40 students participate in an intensive 6-month training program, featuring weekly or biweekly case solving and general training sessions.
  • An internal case competition is held in either May or June to assess and recognize the top performers.

Phase 2

  • The 20 students who emerge as the top performers in the internal case competition advance to the second round.
  • These 20 students undergo rigorous and tailored training sessions to prepare them for the upcoming competitions.

Phase 3

  • During their second year in the program, the top-performing students represent OSB/AUB in international competitions.
  • The training during this phase is intensive and customized to suit the specific formats of each competition.
  • Students or teams displaying exceptional performance are granted multiple opportunities to compete internationally.
