  Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. AUB has over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. The University encourages freedom of thought and expression and seeks to graduate men and women committed to creative and critical thinking, lifelong learning, personal integrity, civic responsibility, and leadership.

  AUB is accredited in the US by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and includes six faculties: Arts and Sciences, Medicine, Engineering and Architecture, Agricultural and Food Sciences, Health Sciences, and Business. AUB offers more than 130 programs leading to bachelor's, master's, MD, and PhD degrees. The main language of instruction is English.

Mr. Hagop Panossian, a senior lecturer in Strategic Management and a member of the OSB faculty, has played a pivotal role in launching the program and leading it to remarkable international success.

Hagop is a senior lecturer in strategic management & management at the Olayan School of Business of the American University of Beirut. He has joined OSB in 2001 as a part-timer and in 2012 as a full-timer. He has also taught economics and management courses at the Lebanese American University from 1996 till 2012 on part-time basis.

Teaching is his true passion and favorite hobby. His professional experience in managing his family business has allowed him to bring the real world business know-how to the classroom. He has volunteered to launch and lead the Int. Case Competition Program at OSB, and has served as the director of the program, and the faculty advisor-coach of all the OSB-AUB teams participating in international business case competitions since 2016.

He has a Master’s degree in Management and a B.S. degree in Computer science from the Lebanese American University.
