OSB MBA students now have the opportunity to study for a semester at NYU's Stern Business School through the Bobst Lebanon Scholars program, which offers Lebanese students the opportunity to gain global perspective. For MBA student Mazen Jradi, who is currently completing a fully-funded term at Stern, the exchange was nothing short of a transformational experience.
"At OSB we are a family and the sky is the limit! You just have to use your wings and you can land anywhere. I landed in New York and it was the best experience of my life!" said Jradi.
When offered the opportunity to study at Stern, Jradi didn't think twice about embarking on the exchange program. His previous finance work experience had taken him around the world, specifically with Trans Air Congo to Congo and with Roda Diamonds to Dubai.
"After a few years in the finance field, I finally had the chance to boost my knowledge by taking three finance courses at Stern, which has one of the best Finance tracks in the world," said Jradi. He added that learning from the top professors will help him achieve his future career goals.
The semester exchange experience, Jradi said, also allowed him to immerse in a new culture and develop a more diverse global perspective. “I profited from my experience, improved my interpersonal skills, and made many friends throughout my exchange semester."
