The AUB-OSB First Case Conference - What you missed

The Case Hub at the Suliman S. Olayan School of Business celebrated the great success of the first annual Arab MENA Case Conference, held on May 5-6, 2023. Over 60 academics and business leaders from Lebanon and the region immersed themselves in a vibrant atmosphere of learning, sharing, and thought-provoking conversations.

This milestone event showcased the commitment of The Case Hub to contributing to the development of the next generation of business leaders in the region by promoting case-based education and building an enthusiastic community of case writers.

Conference Highlights

Keynote speaker Glenn Rowe, PhD, Professor at Ivey Business School, Canada, and a renowned authority in case writing and teaching, captivated the audience with his inspiring words and shared his personal journey in embracing the case method.
Professional development workshop facilitators, Randa Salamoun, PhD, Director of the Case Hub and Imane El Ghazali, Professor at ESCA Ecole de Management, Morocco, provided meticulous guidance and invaluable tips on writing cases and teaching notes.
Panel moderators Fida Afiouni, PhD, Associate Professor of Human Resource Management and Lina Tannir, Director of the MBA program skillfully facilitated engaging conversations between panelists and participants.
The conference also featured case experts who chaired roundtable case development sessions and provided feedback, honing the skills and perspectives of all participants.
