AUB | OSB Fourth Case Conference (2026)

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The Case Hub at the Suliman S. Olayan School of Business​, American University of Beirut ​is hosting its fourth case conference on February 12-13, 2026, on the beautiful campus of the Americ​an University of Beirut​ in Lebanon.

The Fourth Case Conference

The AUB-OSB Fourth​ Case Conference offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to network and engage with case writers, academics and professionals in the region. A rich program includes keynote speakers, professional development workshops, panels, and case development sessions led by seasoned case writers, educators and business professionals. During case development sessions, participants will present their new case ideas (case abstracts) ​and obtain detailed developmental feedback from experienced case mentors. The aim behind these mentor-participant case development sessions is to help participants move their cases forward to publication in our Ivey-AUB Collection, with case publishers and distributors, or refereed journals.​


Submission Requirements

Eligible cases cover topics including but not limited to:

  • Agribusiness
  • Business disciplines
  • Communication and PR
  • Digitalization and impact of technology
  • Education
  • Engineering Management
  • Entrepreneurship
  • ESG
  • Healthcare Disciplines and Management
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Public Health
  • Public Policy
  • R&D
  • Sustainability​


Cases must be original works based on a real (undisguised) decision by a real protagonist in a real organization using primary or secondary sources. Submissions are accepted in both English and Arabic. 

In submitting your case, you commit to having at least one author attend the conference and present the accepted submission.

Awards

If you want your submission to be considered for the best submissions awards, upload your latest draft by January 8, 2026, using the camera-ready version on the submission platform. 

Submissions will be evaluated based on their contribution to the development of contextually relevant cases and the advancement of the case method. Awards will be announced during the conference closing session.

The authors/ writers of winning cases will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with Ivey Publishing to develop the case for publishing in the Ivey-AUB Collection.​

Publication Opportunities

After a peer review, the best developed cases will have the opportunity to be published in the Ivey-AUB Collection.
