As part of its on going efforts to improve the skills of its staff and equip them with the right tools, the Procurement and Contracts Administration conducted, in partnership with Saber Middle East, a 2 day in-house training on Effective Negotiation Skills in the Procurement Industry.
The aim of the training was to help PCA staff better understand what negotiation entails, from having the right attitude, plan, setting and reaching a win win situation. Case studies were presented to the audience along with role plays (Sales vs. Procurement).
This is not the first procurement-related training to be conducted by PCA, particulary with Saber Middle East. Three of PCA members were awarded the CIPP certificate during the past years.
