  Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. AUB has over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. Intergenerational Fundraising Event

The University for Seniors (UfS) at the American University of Beirut, the Gold Clinic at the American University of Beirut Medical Center and HelpAge international, UK organized the “Voices through Art” exhibition a unique fundraising exhibition, the first of its kind in Lebanon and the region.

UfS members, seniors from all around Lebanon as well as AUB students joined efforts and created art both collectively and individually so that they would raise funds in support of the Gold Clinic, offering free health services to older adults who are in need. For more information on the idea behind the exhibition, visit this page.

The exhibition was held on June 17 - 18 at AUB hosting more than 70 artworks, donated by 57 artists, and it continues online for anyone who is interested in buying art pieces while donating to this great cause.
