AUB'S UNIVERSITY FOR SENIOR (UfS) and THE GOLD CLINIC

    in collaboration with HelpAge International

OPEN CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS FOR A FUNDRAISING ART EXHIBITION

    Intergenerational Voices through Art

The University for Seniors, the first and only lifelong learning initiative in Lebanon and the Middle East that is creating a new positive face for ageing, in collaboration with HelpAge International, worldwide alliance standing up for the rights of older people, are organizing an art exhibition in support and in collaboration with AUB's GOLD clinic.

The Gold clinic, an award winning student led initiative at AUBMC, provides free-of-charge high quality healthcare to under privileged older adults in the community. The students' efforts are completely voluntary. Due to the current economic collapse, the Gold clinic is forced to amend its operations to fit their dwindling budget, which is why, we are looking for artists from both the University for Seniors and AUB students willing to donate their artwork (paintings, photography.…) for the benefit of the Gold Clinic to serve under-privileged older adults in the community.

The art exhibition (June 17 – 18 2022) will highlight the creative work of the artists under the theme of VOICES through ART. Your participation in this event will highlight many issues: older people's potential, older adults right to healthcare, ageism, the importance of older people's voices and of intergenerational collaboration.

Your participation will be on voluntary basis. ALL proceeds will be donated to the Gold clinic, your artwork is your donation. The project committee will be pricing the artwork and it reserves the right to choose the type and number of pieces of art to exhibit due to logistical purposes and space dictated by the venue.

To participate, you will need to complete this form
