As part of the Introduction to Digital Photography study group, a field trip to Byblos was organized on May 19, 2012. Between 9am and 3pm the seniors had the chance to explore the ancient city and take their best shots.

Off to Byblos!
Focus, Zoom, control the aperture, the rule of two third, frame, lighting, brightness, contrast… all these concepts were tested hands-on by the digital photography group when they embarked on a trip to Byblos.
It was Saturday May 19, 2012 at 09:00am when the band left AUB campus headed to the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world!
The majestic ruins, the warm old souks, the marvelous historic port and the amount of light that day was just what was needed, according to Mary Mackone, the study group leader, to make it the perfect setup for the photography lovers.
The seniors went from street to street, corner to corner, taking their best shot as they were taught by their amiable and dynamic instructor.
