Cynthia Alame

A 19-year-old AUB student studying health communication. Following a deep passion for photography, during the COVID-19 pandemic, and with the imposed lockdown, digital art became my new outlet. I combine images of old Beirut with a futuristic twist to represent a nostalgic Lebanon to serve as a reminder of the good, old Beirut.

With the country falling into darkness, "حترجع تنور بيروت" meaning “Beirut will have light again”, serves as a reminder for all citizens to have hope for our country, as one day, it will flourish again.
