Seminar on “Corporate Social Responsibility & Controversial Companies: Where to draw the line?”

This seminar was conducted on 12 January 2011, at the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) and in collaboration with the Olayan school of Business (OSB) at AUB. The main presenters were: Yale lecturer Dr. Norbert Hirschhorn, a retired public health practitioner and an adviser to the AUB Tobacco Control Research Group, and Dr. Dima Jamali, an Associate Professor at Olayan School of Business.

This seminar provided an overview of CSR and discussed its take up in the context of controversial industries, focusing particularly on the Tobacco industry. Read more.
