The AUB Issam Fares Institute for Public Policy and International Affairs (IFI) cordially invites you to a book discussion that will examine Dr. Ali Fathollah-Nejad's latest book titled "Iran in an Emerging New World Order: From Ahmadinejad to Rouhani". The discussion will be held online over Zoom on Tuesday, January 18, at 4:00 pm Beirut time.
Fathollah-Nejad's much-acclaimed book will be discussed in the context of the ongoing Vienna negotiations aimed at restoring the 2015 Iran nuclear deal. The book offers a critical assessment of the Islamic Republic's geopolitical visions, as well as its foreign-policy schools of thought. It also discusses Iran's "look to the East" geopolitical orientation, while theorizing the post-unipolar world order and the place Iran occupies there.
