  Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. AUB has over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. The Archives and Special Collections Department at the AUB Libraries invites you to display about “Armenians in Lebanon"

Date: December 9, 2022

Place: Nami Jafet Memorial Library - Lobby

The small exhibit portrays some salient aspects of the Armenian genocide featured in the Antoura Orphanage Album, few postcards of the Armenian Camps in Beirut, some research by AUB students on Armenian community and a selection of books on the Armenian Culture.

This display will be mounted on the occasion of the “Memory and Justice: Remembrance in the Aftermath of political violence" organized by IFI on same day.
