The AUB University Libraries (UL) are glad to announce a new Saab Medical Library research guide that documents and lists useful e-learning tools.
As one of the Medical Education Taskforce (MET) committee's recommendations, this new guide benefits all AUB and non-AUB faculty members, as well as students. It provides tools that can enhance the teaching approach for educators in different fields, in addition to the students' learning experience.
The resources in the guide are listed under three categories: 1) Available at AUB, 2) Free Resources, and 3) Paid Resources.
The types of tools incorporated in the guide include lesson delivery tools, communication tools, assessment tools, knowledge tools, illustration tools, as well as AUB training resources, and resources for “beautifying" content in teaching and learning.
You can access the guide through the UL or SML webpage: https://aub.edu.lb.libguides.com/e-learningtools
This guide was prepared by Dr. Ola El Zein, Head of Saab Medical Library and Mr. Hossein Hamam, from the Continuing Medical Education Office (CME).
There are many applications out there, that are not yet discovered by many, and getting started with e-Learning can be overwhelming, which is why the UL created an extensive list of the commonly used online resources and applications, based on the teaching and learning community's needs and priorities.
